4 Best Anti Aging Skincare Products AKA The Ones I Never Skip

Vitamin C is a powerhouse for your skin. It brightens, fights free radicals, and boosts collagen production. This means fewer wrinkles and a lovely glow. Look for serums with Vitamin C and watch your skin transform.

Retinoids might seem intimidating, but they’re game-changers. They increase cell turnover, fading dark spots and smoothing fine lines. Start slow, maybe a couple of times a week, and let your skin adapt.

Hyaluronic Acid is like a drink of water for your skin. It holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, ensuring your skin stays plump and hydrated. Perfect for that dewy, youthful look.

Never ever skip sunscreen. It’s your best defense against premature aging. Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher is your skin’s BFF. Trust me, future you will thank you for making this a daily habit. I even make sure to slather some on before I take the dogs out on a quick 20 minute walk in the morning.

Best Skincare Products: Luxury, Holistic, and Inexpensive Options

Splurge-worthy products can bring outstanding results. Think of serums like SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic. It’s packed with antioxidants and works wonders on those fine lines and wrinkles and fading dark spots. It really works! I sometimes rotate between this and Skinworks VitaminC ampoules from Amazon because the SkinCeuticals is so expensive and rarely if ever on sale. If you do splurge on the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic, make sure you get it from a reputable source like Dermstore.com . I have been fooled into dupes on ebay and discount beauty sites.

The Ordinary’s Retinol 1% in Squalane is a fantastic choice that won’t break the bank! I think it’s a great daily choice. Another option is a prescription 2.5% tretinoin cream. It’s really effective and my dermatologist recommended it.

I’ve had a lot of luck with Good Molecule Hyaluronic Acid and it’s super affordable. The Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer by the natural brand Tata Harper, is another super-hydrating alternative that will keep you glowing all day. I also love to treat my skin to the Dr. Jart’s Cryo Rubber Hyaluronic Acid Mask every two or three weeks. It is super hydrating and makes me really glowy. I usually save it for a date night or for when I need a pick me up.

I usually use a 50spf on my face and am careful to get one that doesn’t burn or irritate. I also normally use a facial moisturizer that includes some kind of SPF even if it’s only 15. Always make sure to put sunscreen on your neck and chest, too. My skin is sensitive to sunscreens, so I’m currently using Elta MD (spf 46)  my dermatologist recommended. I have also had luck in the past with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer 60+SPF.

Also, not on the list but absolutely essential: drink your water! Making sure you give yourself 8+ glasses you need really helps keep your skin glowing from the inside out- and it’s free 😉

Taking time with these few steps for yourself can rejuvenate both your skin and your spirit and really make a difference in how you feel! Feel free to experiment with your favorites and comment below if you have others you like better. I’m always open to trying new products 🙂
